My preference in creating a menu for your event is to choose food that is seasonal, sustainable, supports the local economy and highlights the flavors that you love. When creating Sassafrass Catering I knew that my main focus was to bring the amazing local and organic produce, flowers and herbs, meats, poultry and seafood that Maine has to offer to clients in delicious and creative new ways. Maybe you immediately picture lobster for dinner and blueberry pie for dessert, but truly, there is an abundance of culinary delights that our waters and land have to offer.
